EC - Apparently Brownback is still campaigning for President instead of

Says the White House spokesperson "We won this round."
The question is, "Who lost?" Just 3 or 4 million children who won't be
covered by the future compromise. Certainly a proud day for Republicans.
Bush wins, millions of American children lose.
Oct. 18 - It is reported that Sam Brownback will withdraw from the Presidential race.
Not sorry to see him do so, and maybe it means he will go back to his job
working for Kansans, but it is kinda sad when a candidate drops out before
anybody has even cast a vote. The people who vote with dollars thus have
more of a say than the people who only vote with ballots.
